Anyone ever used Bumper Stickers to Promote FC

It is something I thought about doing a few years ago when I first joined FC. However, I got sidetracked.

You could put it on your car and maybe buy a domain that is easy to remember that would be a forward /redirect to your Blog (or the FC Site itself with your id number )

Now that I think about it this could be a good idea.

Any thoughts ?

Good idea, I hope it works out for you. It would not work for me because I don't like to put any stickers on my car. I will just use other ways. What is funny is that I like to read the bumper stickers other people have on there cars. So do it if you can. I assure you someone will be reading it like I do.

If you deliver a lot of referrals (100+/mo) we can allow you to use one of our alternate domains (e.g. fusioncash.ca fusioncash.co fusioncash.biz fusioncash.org etc) which are suitable for printed promotion and would still track back to your account.  A support ticket's the best way to accomplish this if you're interested.

100+ a month, now there is a goal.

I find people who can attract that many referrals so impressive.


I've never tried the bumper sticker idea, but I figure every little bit helps. Especially since bumper stickers are so inexpensive, why not give it a try if that's what you're interested in? I think the key is try different promotion ideas, but don't give up if it doesn't result in referrals. Just tweak the idea a bit, or let it fall by the wayside and try something new. As long as you just keep trying.

Back in the  '90's when GPT was just getting popular, (anyone remember AllAdvantage?) I used to work in a huge office park, and my parking spot was in a place that faced a ton of windows.

I had one of those back-window vinyl stickers made with my domain on it. I can't remember how I worded it, but it was something along the lines of, 'make money for yourself, while working for them' and then my domain. I'd park my car so my back car window was facing the office building.

It didn't bring a ton of traffic, but I do remember when I would check my webstats, I would see new unique visits each week from the city and state where I worked, so I knew that it was getting some interest.

I think it's an interesting idea, but you have to keep the message super brief. Drivers need to watch the road, not memorize URLs.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea.  People would see it and think about it.  I think a lot of people are looking for ways to make a little cash either to get by or get something special.  Since I lost my job I have been relying on my girlfriend and I am almost three months behind on my mortgage.  She has been doing good with keeping up everything else that is the only thing that hasn't been paid.  The purpose for me starting like an animal farm was to sell eggs and good to the farmer market to sell the babies and make a little extra now we have not been able to do that and it cost for all the animals we have about a $100 week for feed,  I don't know what I was thinking its not turning out like I thought.

I've never used it, but that sounds like a good idea, especially if you make sure it says something about making extra money from home.

Come to think of it I never knew FC had bumper stickers. If they do I would not mind using bumper stickers to promote FC.
