Yeah, because you love them (family) and they are closest, the hurt can be devastating.  Sometimes continuely turning the other cheek just doesn't work.  Some family members are just malicious and do not care about your feelings.  Distancing yourself maybe the answer.

i now when family hurts you it hurts deep,, but at the end of the day it is usually your family that is there for you when you need them the most,, so hopefully yas can work it out.

I know what you mean. My family is split in two because of it.
