Flu Shot

Has anyone gotten the flu shot this year yet? I have and normally have a sore arm for a few days. But this year, I felt bla for a few days, head-ache, very sore arm, and ran a fever.

I have not gotten the flu shot yet, but I usually do.  I am a senior and don't want to get a full blown bout with the flu.  I have never had much of a reaction except a sore arm.  The one year I did not get the shot I was sick with the flu for two months.

I got mine a few weeks ago.  No adverse after effects - just itched at the spot.  I get one every year and think they are worth any discomfort.

I haven't gotten the flu shot, yet. I'm going to try and get it next week.

I got mine last week when I took my son to the pediatrician (they offer them to the parents) for a check up. My arm was sore for a couple of days and I had some congestion, but that didn't last very long.

I haven't had a flu shot this year nor many years in recent times. I once had a flu shot about 8 years ago and came down with the worst case of the flu ever in my life! Now I know that the shot is not made of live virus and it likely means I had already contracted the virus prior to getting the shot, but I just can't get pass the fear of a recurrence of that aweful bout of flu I experieced.

Well im a mom of four kids. We went and got theirs yesterday. I never had a flu shot.
I never know why I never had one.  But it good for my kids to have, it their protection..!!

I haven't yet.  I have my kids scheduled to get theirs on the 11th of Nov.

I had blood work done last week and this week when to dr. and got the results.  While there I got my flu shot.  The nurse said this time the shot would last a year.  Wow.  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

I got the flu shot souped-up for seniors  but had no adverse side effects from it.  Sorry to hear yours didn't go as smoothly.

I have never gotten one and don't plan on starting now.  People deny it but there is clearly a risk of getting the flu with the flu shot so I feel there are better alternatives.

I got the shot last week.  A few years ago I got the flu, and was never so sick.  Since then I've got one every year.

I haven't gotten this year, I might though. I got a bad stomach flu last December, that was the sickest I've ever been. I do not want to go through that again.

I got mine last year! I don't like to get it every year, eventhough I probably should . I get it about every other year.

I did a couple of weeks ago, and the only side effect was a sore arm for a couple of days.
