An alligator walking toward Walmart

I heard about the six-foot alligator that walked toward a Walmart on the news.  He walked on the entryway to the front door, and it kept opening and closing.  Employees were able to lock the door before he entered the store.  That, let alone anything else, is too creepy for me and too close for comfort.  I would have freaked out.  What are your thoughts?

That must have been real interesting!! I have not heard that one before, but don't it would happen. There has been aligator's that have shown up in some wierd places especially in Florida.

   Strange news! Is there a Walmart SuperStore in the swampy Everglades in Florida?

It is weird that they built a walmart by an area where an alligator can casually walk in.

I'm glad I don't live in alligator country!!!! I know I would not have liked dealing with that. It's good that they had employees that were quick enough to keep him out of the store.

I saw an alligator also when we are playing golf.

That's crazy, it's a good thing I live in NY where there aren't alligators.

Well we don't have to worry about them here in N.M. although one evening we kept getting slarms going off in the retail store and it went on all night. Management kept getting called and having to go dow and check it out. Never could find anything until the next morning. And it was a poisionous snake and had to come inon a shipment from overseas. It kept setting the alarms off all night. Had to call game and fish to catch it. Boy from then on the ladies in receiving wold not put their hands in a box until it had to be upended on the table. Creepy. Just glad no one got hurt.

That is really scary. I would have freaked out if an animal that pig or dangerous was coming towards me.

Oh wow, that's scary. I've heard about how vicious they can be. At least they were able to lock the door before it got inside.

I live in Florida and went to the University of Florida where there are alligators all over campus. My dorm freshman year has a huge alligator living in the pond out front and we used to sit near it and eat and just hang out all the time. It became normal to see an alligator just crossing the street

I saw him on the news and thought it was quite amusing. He was very impressive.

Don't you feel sorry for the poor things? They were there first and we're invading their territory. What else can they do?
