I was born and raised in the Los Angeles  area, you name it and we have it here.  World class, restaurants, hotels, museums, aquariams, theme parks, parks, churches, shopping, movie/TV studios, financial district, beaches, water & snow skiing (within 1 hour), deserts, schools and universities, traffic venues for any sport you can think of, harbors, lakes, wetlands, tarpits.

i live in a rural area, but louisville is nearby.  famous for the louisville cardinals and the kentucky derby

I live an hour from Pittsburg with has many thing to do but the Steelers stadium is the best.  Plus, an hour from Cleveland which has entertain galore.

New York has it all - beaches, theater, restaurants, amusement parks, city parks, museums, etc.  Can't be beat!!!!!

We're 30 minutes from casino gambling in Louisiana. There's all kinds of things to do there but not too much at all in the town we live in.

My home town doesn't offer any thing that the big cities offer. It only has 1- flashing caution light and if you were to blink you would probably drive right through it without knowing . The one thing that was cool was the small town feel. The school was small and everybody knows everybody's family. It is a quiet place; you can relax and enjoy life at a slower pace. I miss my home town. The bad part about it is if you want to go shopping or to the movies then be prepared to drive atleast 50 miles 1-way. I guess it is a way of life that for some folks it would take alot of getting used too, for me I miss it and hoping that maybe 1 day I can return.

I live in a small town that has gotten a lot smaller since the freeway  by-passed us. So all we have is a rinky little movie theater  (at least we have one) a small bowling alley a few restarunts and a high priced grocery store. So when we get to go out of town it is a treat and we shop, go to the specialist for my dad and save a lot of money on groceries.  Depending where we go it is from 80 miles oneway to 167 one way.  Oh well i like it here.

I lived mostly in Lancaster, PA. Its known for the Amish there.

Well I live in the DFW (Dallas - Ft. Worth ) metro mess so we have a team for just about every sport.   As for the entertainment we h ave a whole city just about dedicated to one form or another of entertainment from amusment parks to water parks to just plain parks.  But the weather is hell on horses and women cause if ya don't like it now wait 15 minutes and it will change usually for the worst.

Grew up in a town with the population of 250. Not much there, but we always found something to do as kids!
