World Series

A matchup between the two teams with the best (and identical) records, and a rematch of 2004. Predictions? Thoughts?

I'm not a sports fan myself but my Dad is so I am so glad the Red Sox made the series because they are his team. He is 91 years old and I hope he will get to see his team win the series this year. It would make him so happy.

I feel the world series has a decreasing trend in the number of people that watch.  You need teams like the indians and pirates to make it and bring back the loyal fans out there.  Boston vs Cardinals.  Boston wins in 5.

I'm not really a baseball fan. But I would love to see the Cardinals win. I don't really care for the Red Sox. But I think the Red Sox will win the World Series.

It doesn't really matter to me who wins the World Series since my favorite team (Minnesota Twins) is not in but I probably would rather see St. Louis win than Boston.

I would otherwise watch the World Series if there was a team I was remotely interested, but I am just not this year. If the commercial draw was the same as how this is with the NFL's Super Bowl then I would at least be motivated for other reasons.

I go with the redsox all the way because the cardinals have always had an inconsistency issue win the playoffs down the later stages so thats a liablility

I 'm hoping the Red Sox win for the fact that I am a Die Hard Chicago Cubs fan! The St.Louis Cardinals have been our arch
rivals for years. :BangHead:  ;D

I have lost track of what is going on this year. Once the Yankees were out I didn't keep up.

I will be trying to watch the entire series. I don't have a real big rooting interest for either team, since I like underdogs and my preferred teams are out. However I would like to see Boston win this championship, since I like parity and they have won 7 vs 11 WS wins for St. Louis. The teams seem to me to be evenly matched, so I think it will be a long series with Boston just barely edging out St Louis.
