School Grades
« on: October 18, 2013, 06:25:52 am »
When I was in school, it didn't matter to me if I received an A, B, or C because they had equivalent meanings. If I earned any of those grades, it meant I passed a class and that is what mattered more to me. Were you the same, or was it important to you to earn a certain grade, maybe an A? Did you have a reason for it other than just passing a class?

If you have an "A" average that is better than a "C" average.  A person with an "A" average all the way thru school is more likely to get a job, be liked by the teachers, and everything else than somebody who just squeaked by with a "C" average.

My parents would have preferred all A's or B's but I did good in school and always showed a great deal of effort!!

I was always considered a nerd in school. i strike for A's but i will consider a B, it will just be highly aggravating. i do not consider myself to be a nerd however because this attitude towards school work has lead me to be a full time honor student in college working towards my double major at a more rapid rate than normal and also being a full time mother of three (about to be four at any day). I have been both mommy and daddy for the majority of my college career. The oldest is 6... lol

I started out making straight A's in school and then it was expected of me.  I didn't get my first B until I was in the 10th grade.  We moved and I switched schools.  The geometry class was a lot different from the school that I came from.  I had to do extra studying to get the B brought up.  I graduated with a 3.96 gpa.
Have a wonderful day!

Um, it's pretty important to do more than just "pass" a class. A half-a s s knowledge of things will get you in trouble in life.

When I attending school, It was very important to me to obtain the highest achievement. I always wanted nothing less then A's and B's because, I wanted to challenge myself to achieve higher goals.  I didn't have much encouragement so, this was my way of proving to myself that I could achieve anything I put my mind too.
