Baseball Games too Long
« on: October 16, 2013, 03:06:23 pm »
Has anyone else noticed how long MLB baseball games are now?  Any ideas on how to make the games shorter?

The only way I can think of shortening the time of play is to limit the amount of time that coachs and the catcher can visit with the pitcher.

I don't think that they are too long.  Some of the post season games are longer because of all the extra activities that they throw in.

I've never watched a baseball game.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

I guess the games could be considered too long for some people, but probably others feel like they're getting more entertainment for their buck.

Games are pushing 4 hours without extra innings or even that many runs being scored.  The real issue is people who go to the games and have to work the next day, since MLB is the only major sport with no time limit.

The average length is a little less than 3 hours. I don't have any issue with it.
