just to add to the previous suggestions run your virus scan in safe mode.  Viruses and other unsavory things are the reason I have been using firefox strictly for Fusion Cash.  I use Chrome for banking and other financial/important transactions.  I save IE for general surfing.

Well, I did try to download the game, but I could never find it to play it after I downloaded it.  I did have a game site that downloaded but couldn't find the Mario game.  I normally use a Mac and when I found it was only for windows, I switched to our HP laptop.  I hope I haven't messed it up.  I tried to get rid of the site once I found out I couldn't find the game.  I think I dragged it to the trash, but I did go to the add/remove site.  I don't understand how any of that works and I didn't try to go to FC on the HP after the download.  Thanks for the suggestions here in this thread.  I guess I will have to go investigate further and see if I can figure out how to get the unwanted items off the computer.

I use a Mac too and I seriously considered using my old PC to download this game for the credit.  The only reason why I didn't was because it didn't seem worth the effort of booting up my old dinosaur Dell laptop to get it done.  After reading this thread, I'm really glad that I was too lazy to walk into the other room to get my other laptop, lol!  Thanks for the heads up!

Thank you for the warning!  I was thinking about it, the money was a draw, but decided not to.  Glad I didn't, hope your computer is ok now.

I usually don't download any videos, etc. when asked but like you said, the money was a draw and I decided to take the chance. I even played the game once and it is pretty neat, but it wasn't worth the hassle I did go through.

I clicked on the one ad that kept showing up even today and it gave me an 'opt out' options so I was quick to do that. I'll see what happens but so far, it isn't showing up anywhere so maybe that was the final step/cure.

Sorry about that short post. I was kinda upset and wanted to get all the other add-ons out of my system quickly so I could continue on FC. Anyway, my other post under the 69 cent video, which kept moving around, so here's what I posted there:

One window that opened AFTER I went to delete this program showed that there are "hundreds" (as an expression) of other ads that will download every time you click on something here on FC. Monster jobs, AOL, some insurance program, and a couple others I have had already AND it doesn't allow some things to show on FC. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS MARIO BROS.

I had to restore my computer to an earlier time because I couldn't find all the add-ons by going under Add/Remove programs. I still have a sneaky add on showing up once in a while, but it doesn't seem to interfere with FC so when I have time, I'll find it.  Thanks for the heads up I will not try this one thanks to you.

Wow, thanks for the heads up about this. I usually stay away from offers that ask me to download something, even if it is tempting. The $0.69 cents is definitely not worth it. Thanks once again!

I downloaded it before I saw your post and ended up with a malware nightmare of a problem. Still trying to fix it and still getting unwanted popups.

I did not see this one but I try not to ever download anything unless it is absolutely necessary!

I never download games, etc from FC or sites like it as they are always bundled with malware, etc... even free games I can download right from their site..its the way they make money probably
