No longer homeless!!!

We sold our home end of July and have been living in the lower level of dear friends ever since....with one kid in a tent or back of a van with the dog b/c they are allergic.  We finally closed on our home today so we are cleaning, painting, ripping out carpet and getting things ready! We'll be in by mid next week and I can't wait!!!! Anyone else moving?

Oh you must be so relieved and excited! It's wonderful to have friends who are willing to take you in during a transition period, but you must feel so happy to finally be in your own home.

I am so happy for you.  I applaud your friends for taking you in and helping you over a rough spot, but I know you are happy to be moving into a place of your own.  There is no better feeling.

I am so happy for you!  Congratulations and good luck as you start a new chapter in life!  Praise God for His blessings.  Keep in touch and let us know how the new place is going.  Does this mean a new school for the kids or are you in the same town?  Are you working and trying to move and set up house and do the work on the place too or do you have your full time to dedicate to it? 

But, like I said earlier...good luck to you.  I know it is both at the same time a huge relief and a lot of work.

Congratulations and the best of luck in your new place. My older sister and brother-in-law also faced obstacles when they transitioned to a new home recently. The had to wait an extra eight days for the closing and resided in their old EMPTY house while their belongings were stored as they awaited to get into their new home. It was quite stressful for them and am glad that your stressful moments are over too.

Congrats! So glad you are now able to move into our new home.  I will be moving soon.  It's a fixer upper and needs a lot of tlc but looking forward too it. Thanks for your encouragement much need for me next project.   Enjoy your new home. So grateful for great friends too.
