I did not intend on clicking "Thanks" for your post.  I was trying to click "Quote."  Why do you say "Bible thumpers?"  There are all kinds of people out there, of all walks of life, personalities, temperaments, thoughts, attitudes, etc., who could fit within the context of batmobile's question.

I've worked with a few. It's not always pleasant. No matter what, you're going to be wrong in their eyes even if the problem is obviously their fault. Recently we had a job to do and we planned it around Person A's schedule. I made sure everyone knew what time we needed to do the work. The time came and everyone but Person A showed up. My colleague gave him a call and he said he didn't plan anything with me-- either he forgot or he just flat out lied (most likely lying) and he made everyone turn on me because apparently it was my job to remind him of his own schedule I helped work around. Seriously, wth?

My best advice is just don't count on them for anything. If they start an argument (unless it's with more than you), just shrug it off and be kind.

yup you are right about that...some people just want to lessen their bad attitude and behavior and try to twist it on you bc they r miserable and wanna make you miserable too som etimes it a jealously issue

Everyone who's not religious would probably disagree with you (for the most part). Christians in particular are some of the most self-righteous overzealous people out there. Coming from a user who has been on this forum for a while, I assure you that this forum is full of them.

Just this weekend I went shopping in my city and down a long stretch of road there were dozens and dozens of christians holding signs saying "STOP ABORTION", "JESUS WILL SAVE YOU!", "ABORTION IS MURDER!", etc. They were all between the ages of 30-80, white, and were all dressed very well. A few brought their kids with. I did not see one black couple or inner-city kid there, so it was apparent nobody was interested in adoption. I'm sure they all hated paying higher taxes too, which is sickeningly hypocritical. Just make sure they're born and then swipe 'em under the awful US foster care system. Just as long as they know they're right in their god's eyes by holding up those signs for all the level-headed people driving by. Self-righteous idiots.
