It's ok to be a non-conformist and to think outside the box. Just remember to look out for all of the cr*p that may be out there....  ;D

Unfortunately, there are quite a few "IDIOTS" out there.... I meet them on a daily basis, and I found that lately I just keep my comments to myself to avoid any type of conversation with those losers! :-X

it is his opinion he is entitled to it. You took the time to listen to it and had some kind of reaction to his ideas. Whether it is true or not you are still thinking about it up until at least to the moment you published this thread. Seems like the idiot got you to even share his opinion with an even larger audience.

That dude had no right saying that!! Would he still say the  same thing if it were him in the twin tower or the pentagon that day? People like that should not be allowed out in public! :angry7:

Not on Weekends. That's When I Run Into Most Of Them. In The Walmart Parking Lot :BangHead:

And these idiots you run into in the Walmart parking lot have either just been in the store or are headed into the store.
Grrr. lol

Some people are strongly OPINIONATED and OUTSPOKEN.  Choose to be neutral so you can be grounded regardless of what's happening around you.  Let it go and consider the source so someone like that doesn't have the power to ruin your day.

That's good advice.  I have a hard time being neutral when people are just plain stupid.  But I am getting better and not letting one stupid person totally ruin the rest of my day.

First off i would like to say. Not one person is an "idiot" We all have good days and bad days. We all have The right to our opinions it is a God Giving Right.
Now if you Please Define the word "idiot" What makes a person a so called "idiot", Who are we to call anyone a "idiot". In my opinion no one person should be called a name. You really have no Idea what one person is going through and what is going on inside of their head.I belive everyone is entitled to their opinions. Weather they are true or not. Who is to say the person is wrong? Do we have proof that what they are saying is wrong? Do we have proof that he is right?Non the less who are we to stand up and call someone an outright "idiot" Didn't your mother ever tel you if you can't say anything nice then do not say it at all? You mentioned should an "idiot" be allowed in public? As far as that question is concerned that is a very hypocritical thing to say.Everyone should be allowed in public. They are human. They have the same rights as any other human as long as they are not hurting anyone then why should you be concerned about what they are doing? How would you like it if someone took away your rights to go out in public? How would you feel? Furthermore i belive In freedom of speech. It is a God Given right. People do not have the freedom of speech for nothing. It is a very important right. We should defend it till our dieing days. As long as the said person is not hurting anyone by what they are saying or doing then they should be able to say whatever they want. As stated before people have good days and people have bad days. Some people also have dissabilities and sometimes their are people who are not in the right state of mind and sometimes we loose track of what we are saying and tend to babble about nonsence but non the less. We are all human and deserve to be treated as a human and have equal rights. The definition of an idiot is a Person who being unable to learn connected speech or guard against common dangers. I don't like the word "idiot" because people tend to use the word wrongly to insult someone. But in turn the real idiot is the person who is using the word wrong without knowing the meaning of the word.

I disagree.  First freedom of speech is NOT a GOD GIVEN right.  And it is a right that is being lost in this country as we speak.  I deal with the public on a daily basis and in MY opinion which you just stated I have a right to...idiots should not be allowed in public.  As for people that are mental...they shouldn't be allowed in public either.  There have been numerous times a supposed mental person has went physco and just shot a bunch of people and killed them because the voices in their head told them to.  I make no apologies.  If a person has voices in their head telling them to hurt other people then they need to be locked up for MY protection.  Over all people are just plain rude and stupid.  And if "I" didn't go out in public to my job then the people who fit the description of what I am talking about wouldn't have a check to spend.  Because without the working folks their free checks would stop.  Maybe it's just the area I live in.  I don't know.  I will give you an example.  We have public restrooms and we have friggin IDIOTS who smear poop all over the walls in the restrooms.  They think it is funny.  Anybody who would do that doesn't need to be allowed in public.   People do things to destroy and make messes and on and on because THEY don't have to clean it up.

One of the things I love about living in America is that everyone is free to speak their mind.  That being said, I, too, get upset when people spout off about things that are so contrary to how I believe.

Actually, that isn't true.  We are free to speak our minds as long as we don't "offend" somebody. lol

Actually, I didn't have any type of reaction.  And if he is a customer I don't have much of a choice but to stand there and at least act like I am listening.

Or if someone he loved was on one of the 747s.  People's stupidity amazes me.  This doesn't have anything to do with the government.  The government didn't tell me this.  Or anybody this.  This was a real thing that happened and every news place in the world was reporting it.  Not the government.

just because he has a different opinion doesn't make him an idiot.

just because he has a different opinion doesn't make him an idiot.

Holding a different opinion doesn't make someone an idiot... holding an idiotic opinion does.

Opinions can be evaluated to determine if they're rational, logical, and reasonable. If they're deemed not to be, the person holding them is an idiot.
