Tasks are still low my list of to do's in this online GPT money making world.  My list is as follows:

1.  Work on getting referrals
2.  Paid to calls
3.  Free offers
4.  Surveys
5.  Videos
6.  All other ways of making money
7.  Tasks

With all of the good tasks I've been doing, I had my biggest cashout ever last month ($73+) and hope to have an even bigger one this month. I already almost have my $25.00 and it's only the 6th of the month!!!

Very interesting discussion.  I think there is money to be made in the tasks but just haven't figured out how to actually do it.  After reading the posts I am suspecting that timing plays a lot.

Based on another discussion thread -- it seemed some people would rather watch videos all day than do tasks.  I defintely think there is some money to be made on tasks, buy if surveys were more plentiful and did not DQ as much and their were lots of videos and free offers I think people would be doing those and not tasks as much.

You hit the nail on the head!! I've been doing these EASY 6 cent tasks because I can do the same amount (total money) of those in 20 to 30 minutes as a 20 to 30 minute survey and at least I know I won't get disqualified. I would definitely do more surveys if I KNEW I wouldn't be DQ'd, but I don't usually qualify for very many surveys. I'd also rather get 6 cents for 2 minutes of time (task) vs 1/2 cent for a 3-5 minute video. That's what you call a no-brainer!!

I did do some $.06 tasks that were quite easy and fast but after a few they were gone and I dont see them very often on the tasks board -- and have even been spending more time on the tasks trying to find some "tricks of the trade."  I still can't imagine the time commitment spent by those on the top of the leaderboard AND I doubt you can really add up 1 cent so fast I think they must be doing more 5-6+ cent tasks.

I think I will play with the tasks some more to see how thing all shake out down the road.

They are the ones that require that you add a bookmarklet to your Favorites bar. I don't know how long this is going to last, but I'm going to take advantage of them while I can!!

I do some tasks also and some I just can not get the hang of it. I also was wondering if I should register with Crowdflower and maybe I can do some of the ones that will not allow me unless I am signed in.

I am new at the task thing but I can tell you that someone would have to do all of the tasks every day to get on the leader board.

Yes, you should register for the reason you stated and also because if you have any issues with a task, you have to contact them directly to get it resolved.

Don't know if you saw my post from a few days ago about the 6 cent tasks that require you to add a bookmarklet to your favorites bar, but that is how I (and likely the others on the leaderboard) am able to do so well with the tasks. When and if I have the time to sit and do them, which I usually do, I'm going to do them. I spend about 5 hours a day going through those 6-centers until they all disappear and I have done as many as 169 plus some other good (and EASY) tasks that show up at various times of the day. You just have to become familiar with which ones they are and when to look for them.

When I made that post, that's about the time those tasks were showing up, but they've been showing up earlier, so you might try checking around 10:00 am or so PST.
