I don't know how they do it either. I spent a lot of time on there a month ago and only earned a couple bucks.

Yesterday, I did one that surprisingly paid very well, found the info and entered it, BUT when I submitted, it told me all the answers were wrong on the one question. So funny that it was the very last question on each separate search.

What I'd also like to know is where you find job numbers if you want to contact CrowdFlower about a problem? They won't try to fix a problem unless you give them a job # and job description.

The job id # is in the top right corner of the task. You will see the square with three lines on it, click on that and then click on help. You will see the job # and your id #. Hope this helps :)

I actually made it to number 2 on the leader board yesterday, but I'll tell you-it took me hours to get the $. A lot of it is timing and finding the right tasks for you. Just keep refreshing as new tasks sneak in often. Good luck!

Does anyone who is a regular doing many tasks explain the trick of it and the time needed to be competitive in the monthly paid to task leaderboard?  What might be an average and good day in earnings for doing the tasks?

I don't really look at it as competition. I needed the extra cash so I just spend time doing the tasks just like I do the other things available to me on Fusion Cash.

The only difference is with the task page there is a leader board so people see how much you've earned, people would probably still be curious if there was a leader board for surveys and they saw that someone was completing $80-$100 in surveys a month (which some do).

Tasks are just as a few people have already stated, it takes time and some people don't have or want to spend that amount of time. There is no real big secret except hard work and dedication, just like with surveys, offers and everything else on Fusion. I wish I had referrals and hundreds of surveys, but I just work with what I can.

I really want to know too! I always start off good and then they'll have a question, usually at the end, that has no answer or at least not one I can find.

You can't imagine the number of times that that same thing has happened to me.  The answer simply isn't there.  I've spent many extra minutes just searching for what they are asking.  It's really frustrating when you've found the correct answers to a whole list of tasks only to get kicked out of the credit at the bottom of the page because there is no answer to the last question. I still think it's worth the effort because at least part of the time the tasks produce good earnings.

A lot of patience and read the directions.   Most days I do not have any patience.   lol

I don't see it as competition either, but I think it would be cool to see my name on the leader board somewhere just once. I spend what time I can doing tasks and have done pretty decent, just wish I had more time so I could earn more. I don't seem to qualify for very many surveys lately, so at least I know I can earn something for my time with the tasks. You and donnitab do very well with it.

For Crowdflower to give you credit for a task you have to give them the job number and your contributor id number. Where you get them is clicking help on the task that gave you problems and then it shows you your  job id and contributor id. Copy and paste them is what I do then I find where it says to go to support in that same area and I click the right side of my mouse to open it in a new window and then I paste it in the complaint letter and then copy my job number from that form and paste it where you put your job number.

I think the easy task come in waves and when they are there you have do as many as possible before people wise up and take em down
I think you are right. If you don't get them right away, they are gone.

It boils down to reading carefully, hard work, and persistance.  Tasks change throughout the day and you just have to catch them at the right time.

I try not to worry about or do many of those tasks.  I wonder if those with the highest amount of money for the tasks have any type of social life?

I've always found the tasks really time-consuming. I'd rather be doing a 30 minute survey for $1 than spending 30 minutes doing tasks for 10-20 cents.

You will need to spend about 3 hours per day, if you are fast, to get on the leader board. That's for the bottom of it, not the top!

Tasks are still low my list of to do's in this online GPT money making world.  My list is as follows:

1.  Work on getting referrals
2.  Paid to calls
3.  Free offers
4.  Surveys
5.  Videos
6.  All other ways of making money
7.  Tasks
