Masters of Tasks
« on: October 01, 2013, 01:15:15 am »
Does anyone who is a regular doing many tasks explain the trick of it and the time needed to be competitive in the monthly paid to task leaderboard?  What might be an average and good day in earnings for doing the tasks?

It's going to take a lot more than an hour a day to make the leaderboard. An important factor to consider is that different tasks are posted at different times a day. You need to be frequently checking the list and then spending time on the tasks.

It is true that the more you do, you should be earning more opportunities to earn from CrowdFlower, but that still requires a lot of time and dedication.

There is a certain learning curve to tasks.

THanks for the replies.  I would be really curious to learn from some of the people that made it onto the leaderboard and know what sort of time commitment they are making.

I would love to know this as well. To me, it doesn't seem like there are enough tasks to make that much money.

Yes It would be interesting to understand the system.  I have only found one or 2 tasks that I can actually complete successfully and easily.

Yes, I would also like to know the tricks to mastering the tasks, some members do extremely well there, but I generally get frustrated with the amount of time required to complete; maybe if I had more patience I could be more successful!

I've tried REALLY hard a time or two to do as many as I could in a day and I still can't seem to make it into the top 5 on the leaderboard. I would venture to guess that the ones that earn upwards of $80 or so in a month probably spend almost all day on there.....every day. I just can't imagine not spending that kind of time and being able to earn that amount of money.

I really want to know too! I always start off good and then they'll have a question, usually at the end, that has no answer or at least not one I can find. I've even wondered if they do that on purpose. When you make it to the last question, you've already clicked on what they've wanted you to in the search engine.  :bs:  I wish I could get the hang of it though, it'd be nice to have some extra cash.

Thanks for all the replies!!  I don't think anyone who has ever been on a task leaderboard has responded yet.  To be honest, I am under the impression that tasks are very-time consuming and pay little for amount of time spent and that those who complete a lot and reach the leaderboard are working on tasks for several hours every day of the month -- BUT I would love to be proved wrong.

I may attempt a task from time to time, but for now I still think my time is best spent doing paid to calls, surveys, daily paid to clicks, videos, offers and working on getting referrals.

I don't know how they do it either. I spent a lot of time on there a month ago and only earned a couple bucks.

Yesterday, I did one that surprisingly paid very well, found the info and entered it, BUT when I submitted, it told me all the answers were wrong on the one question. So funny that it was the very last question on each separate search.

What I'd also like to know is where you find job numbers if you want to contact CrowdFlower about a problem? They won't try to fix a problem unless you give them a job # and job description.
