I would think with so much internet shopping that the post office would be doing better.
I think they mostly missed the boat on that. Before they made their changes recently to Priority Mail, shipping via that method didn't offer as many benefits to the shipper and typically cost more. The bulk of the products I get shipped from companies comes from UPS, followed by FedEx and then distantly back by USPS. I think most companies established business with shipping carriers long ago. The Postal Service I don't think read the tea leaves, if you will, as well as they should have in regards to where shopping and shipping were going as early as they should have. Now they have a lot of catching up to do, and it might already be too late.
