I'd say the best time in my life has been when I got divorced, got my own house, and lived the way I wanted to-that would come after having my two kids.  That had to number ONE!

I don't know if I've had a favorite time yet. Maybe my 30's? ;)

The best time is not now.  I would say it was in my late teens to my middle 20's.  I had a good job, tons of friends, seldom home, a great apartment, dated a lot, was pretty (don't mean to be conceited), and had a nice shape.  Now I'm a senior, living on social security (or trying to), lost my looks and shape.  They say youth is wasted on the young, and in my case I have to agree.

What has been your favorite age or time in life so far?
My favorite time in life so far is RIGHT NOW. I would not change what I have done in my past although I have messed up big time in a few areas of my life. I have learned that it's not what you have that matters but what you do with what you do have that matters. I am now at the age where I just enjoy life and give thanks to God that my health is still good. I can sit back enjoy all the little things that really matter. Watching my guys with their families, and being happy in the moment. I don't think that I would want to repeat my past life with the knowledge that I now have because going through all the crap is what has made me who I am now. I love me and all that I represent now. :peace:

I love myself now. There is no time for regrets or any other time in my life that I wish I could re-lived. I am grateful for the strength and energy that the good Lord has given me to live on this earth. Yes I used to be skinny and fast, I used to run and not feel tired for as long as I could remember, I used to play a lot of sports, but NOW even though I couldn't do most of those things I used to do in my youth, I am happy to have Jesus in my life!

Probably in my early 30s. I didn't have a lot of material possessions and was raising two boys as a divorced mom while working full-time and attending college full-time with no family in the area.  I was in good physical shape and was very happy.

I really enjoyed my 20's....from 21-30!!!  It was a really good time in life!  I didn't get married until I was 26 so I enjoyed being on my own for a little while!

That's so wonderful. I have multiple sclerosis and it's taken things away from me, but it hasn't stopped me from becoming a wife and mother. I think without Jesus I'd still be that lost kid I was when I was in my twenties. Life is definitely much better.

I'm not there yet. I was sick a lot when I was young so, many things I should've already gotten out of the way then, I just didn't. I don't have any desire to do childish things that I didn't get a chance to do back then, I'm just working on being free to do a lot of things that I want with my needs not being much of an issue like when you're a kid. That's going to require money being a non-issue. Still working on that.

:) My middle 20's. found out the world was a big place and I wasn't such a "hotshot" after all. Calmed down and started living sensibly.

I know it isn't now.  I feel so old and insignificant sometimes.  Maybe it is just low-self esteem, but I feel like middle-aged women are not very valued in our society.  Sometimes I go in a store and I feel invisible.  I don't remember feeling that way when I was young, skinny and cute.

Judging from your pic I think ur still cute, im 20 and consider you as attractive as ppl around my age, keep ur head up

My favorite age was when I was in my 30's.  The years between that I learned life from the school of hard knocks.  I got knocked down a lot, but I learned that there are things in life that, when people are shouting in your ear that you will be a failure, that stands to make you stronger.  People wear blinders over their eyes because they choose not to know the thing that will free them.  My suggestion to you is to do what I did; I took the blinders off and I saw the truth.  It may have been a bitter pill to swallow, but it made me stronger.  The fact is, I needed to take off the blinders because I had been lied to in my life from the time of my conception through growing up.  My mother died without telling me about my father and it took a great-aunt to tell me about him.  But I know that, whether he is here or not, a part of my father and mother lives in me.  My grandmother passed away 24 years ago, and a part of her lives in me as well.  I know that she is with me in spirit. :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:  :bad:
