Umm..a dog?

I would choose the gorilla for 2 reasons
1 I am pretty good with sign language (my mom used to be an ASL interpreter for a girl in my sister's class)
2 If you don't want to "listen" to the gorilla u just cover your eyes

I'd definitely choose the dog.

1.  Because they're "man's best friend" and really are loyal to their people; and
2.  Because the gorilla would be too hard to bathe, LOL.

What unusual choices. I would have to go with the dog. Like others have said, much easier to take care of, and the lullabies sound like a sweet bonus!

The boring answer, the dog smaller and easier to clean up after so for more piratical reasons I suppose.

definitely a dog...already live with a gorilla (my hubby lol)

Umm... definately a small dog, less expensive to feed, less mess to clean up from and if I had an infant the dog could sing it a song...
