If you could go back in time, when would it be?

If you would want to go back in time, what time period would you want to experience?

If I could go back in time I would love to go back to the mid 80's and be 17 again. I would make many changes based on what I know now. There were some good times, but I made some wrong choices that have caused me many problems along the way. It is good to learn from our wrong choices and to make better choices today. We can't roll back the clock but sometimes I do think my life would be much better if I could undo some choices I made along the way.

I assume your questions means going back to any period in time, not just our own lifetimes, even if the period of time was before we were born.  I would like to go back to the late 1960s to experience the Vietnan war -- the protests and overall cultural impact, not the actual fighting and then see the Joe Namiath upset in Super Bowl 3 in 1969, the Miracle Mets also in 69, the hoopla over the Zodiac murders, and the moon landing in July 1969.

Sorry nothing fancy I would just go back to before my closest loved ones died and try to do things different with them.  It is hard for me not to have regrets where my mother and my husband are concerned especially but alas one can't.

I would go back to when I was 7 years old and relive my life but I would fix some stuff in it that went terribly wrong.

I would love to go back to the 1950's. Life was simpler, our country was in a post-war era and people were very patriotic, our economy was strong, there was such a thing as family values, you paid cash for almost everything, the cars from the 50's were awesome, gas was super cheap (along with just about everything else) and it was just a friendlier world to be in.
