I think I probably have the best of the two worlds.  I live in the suburbs of a city.  I have 2 acres of property and have deer and wild turkeys in my yard, but in about 10 minutes I'm in the city.

I like the city because it's easier getting around to everyplace on a bus, train, cab or just walking. Also there's plenty of things to do.

I was raised in the country and now I live closer to the city, but not in it. I miss the county, the quiet, the animals, the dark.....

I grew up and was raised in the country but now live in the suburbs.  I love the suburbs, everything is so convenient.  Living in the country was nice when I was younger but now it would be difficult for me to move back to the country.  Too many animals, insects, reptiles, dark roads and areas.  I like lighted streets and the close vicinity of neighbors and friends.   :peace:

I love the city because everything is so close by and I like to be surrounded by people. The country is ok as long as it is not too deep in the country because I am not a country girl...plus it is too quiet for me and I am scared to be all the way out there especially at night time

The country is far superior. People suck. The less people the freaking better. There are far too many people in the world...

I live in the subburbs but I am a country girl at heart. We go up to the north Ga mountains whenever we get the chance and just chill.

never lived in a big city like san Francisco just visited .like the country better would much rather see cows, hills and country atmosphere then city buildings etc. I guess I live in the valley like the sound of that but it is way hotter and shopping malls are 5 minutes away.

I was raised in the country and lived there most of my life until about 6 years ago. I went through a divorce and relocated to a rather large city so I could get back on my feet so too speak. I absolutely love it in the city. I had alot of adjusting to do but now I couldn't see myself living anywhere else. I don't have to drive 50 miles to get groceries or go out to eat. There is just sooo much more the city has to offer than living in the country.

I love the peace and quiet of the country.  The air, space, and  overall feel of the country is great.  I like going to big cities for travel, concerts, and offerings, but I always look for the Welcome to Delaware sign on my way back home.  I guess it's what I am used to.

I was born and raised in the country, I moved to the city 4 years ago and I hated it at first...I was in some apartments that had a lot of people and a lot going on all the time, moved to some different apartments, less people but still to many for me, so I finally found a house not far from my job, much better, lot less people.....love the country life, but like you said it's harder to find work or find places to shop......but I'm 100% all country girl....
