Here in Alaska we have four seasons: Winter-snow, spring-flowers, summer-fun and fall when the leaves from trees fall to the ground.

I can tell it's getting colder my feet are drier.  I'm so sad summer is ending.

There are pretty dramatic changes in season here in NJ. Last week it was in the 80's and I was wearing shorts but today when I got up I had to put on jeans because there was a chill in the air. I am sorry to see summer go, but fall is fun too, what with all the colors of the leaves changing and no more need for air conditioning.

I know what you mean Gerianne. It's beautiful, and pretty much the same way here in Mississippi.  :)

I can't wait until fall comes in. We have had a very wet summer this year and I would like some cool/dry weather for a change.

I live in PA and last week we were swimming and the temp. was in the 80s, this weekend at night it dropped to the high 40s!  Today it's in the high 70s, but this week it's suppose to go back into the 80s.  I guess summer is not ready to leave yet.

Yes, we gone from the 80's in one week down to the 50's and back up to the 80's. My allergies already started to kick in.

You can feel it in KY, too.  Cool mornings warming up to hot humid afternoons.  The leaves are beginning to change colors.  Ragweed and Goldenrod are in full bloom which is stirring up the allergy problems.
Have a wonderful day!
