San Francisco
« on: August 24, 2013, 10:16:43 pm »
Hello FusionCashiers!  How's everyone doing tonight? I've been in San Francisco for a vacation since Thursday and I think I'm ready to move here....people are friendly, the city is fantastic and walking around San Francisco is phenomenal!  Today I went on a 9 mile walk from my hotel (close to where the Bay Bridge is), around the beach a little bit and then to the Golden Gate Bridge and back.  I absolutely love it here!  How many people have been to San Francisco and loved it?  What's the #1 best thing to do and what haven't you liked?  On Thursday, I went to the Intel Headquarters where I got to go inside the Intel Museum and learn a lot about Intel (VERY nice!) and I also went to Google Headquarters to get a tour from one of my good friends who works in Google Human Resources.  I leave tomorrow around 5PM.
I have ways of making money that you know nothing of.

I was stationed at the Presidio of San Francisco from 1962-1963 and looked out my barracks window at the Golden Gate Bridge (when you could see it through the fog). One of my favorite visits was the Golden Gate Park and the aquarium.

Lucky you! I love San Fran. China town is awesome, especially if you like Chinese food.

@oldbuddy - Nice!  I walked by the Golden Gate Park yesterday when I was walking back from the Golden Gate Bridge.  I stayed at the Hyatt Embarcadero but did not go to the Aquarium.  I did go to Chinatown which was neat!  I could see myself being here in the future!

I have never been to San Francisco but I would love to one day see the Golden Gate Bridge.  I have been a big fan of the 49ers ever since their Super Bowl XVI season.  Joe Montana is the greatest quarterback ever.  I would love to one day see them play in person.  Go 49ers!!!

If you want to get a rise out of the natives, just call it Frisco

I grew up about and hour from SF. My dad worked in the city for over thirty years and my sister still does.  It is a fantastic place to visit and love all the little ethnic communities there. Views are fantastic as is the food. Love the wharf and city park.

I don't think I would like it.  Too big and I would get lost and too many people.  But from what you say at least they are nice people.  :D

The new Bay Bridge will be opening soon. The new Oakland-San Francisco bay bridge is called "The Eastern Span". Do not miss it!
