Not to take it for granted. Because everyone and everything lives and they die and once there gone theres no going back

I do not know that it is the most important but it is a valuable lesson.  I have learned that it is best to trust no one.  Don't talk to people.  Recently had a bunch of problems.  Somebody told me that 'somebody you think is your friend - aint".  It's sad that if you talk to somebody about a situation they run and tell whomever they can get to listen.

Trust is a very important part of life. You use it in relationships, friendships, familyships(lol that's not a word) but you do use trust in alot of ways. Without Trust you can't go very far.I hope you change your mind about that. Not everyone is the same. You just have to rethink some of your friends in situations like that.

Best it to trust no one? Because of what your friend did to you no one should trust anyone? Kinda harsh to people who did nothing wrong to deserve that kinda response because not everyone is that way. Should not put everyone in the same boat as your friend its not right at all

Go with your GUT FEELING.  No matter what your heart OR your head says, your GUT is the one that you should be listening to.  If something doesn't "feel" right, you better believe it's NOT right.

The most important lesson in life is how we learn and understand these valuable lessons. Some lessons were easy to learn while others were learned the hard way. It is the reason for which they are so valuable.

The life lessons I learned have indeed made me a better person.  Back in my day, you got a beatdown (spanking) if you misbehaved.  Education was an important life lesson.  Parents were less tolerant than they are now.  I agree with another poster:  everybody that you think is your friend is not your friend.  They claim to be there for you until the end but, in the end, you end up being for yourself and by yourself.  Do not trust too many people, because they are just as deceiving and shady in the end.  I learned that strangers will do more for you than your own relatives, and that they (your relatives) are your biggest critics. ??? ??? ??? :o

I think I've learn not to judge other because we can never truly know what they have experienced to make them do what they did or said. Give them the benefit of the doubt until you know differently.

Here's a few passed down my grandmothers:

1.  Everything in moderation - don't over indulge as the rule, you end up hurting yourself, whether it be food or exercise or work, etc.

2.  Many hands make light work - whether it's helping family, neighbors, co-workers, strangers...the more people willing to work/help out, the less of a burden the work task will be.

3.  Don't be too boastful when things are good - there will always be someone, somewhere else in the world better.  This helps keep us humble.

4.  Don't be too down/depressed when things are bad - there will always be someone, somewhere else in the world who has it worse.  This helps keeps us grateful.

The most important lesson I have learned in life is trusting God 100percent..."Let Go...Let God...I never understood this until my forty's but how I wish I could and would have implemented that in my life in my 20's I could have avoided a lot of mistakes and regrets and I don't know why when we are young we may believe in God but are afraid that if we choose to get saved we can no longer have any fun...OMGosh that couldn't be further from the truth  :angel11:
