New DCE?

I am okay with the new look (except for the captchas--they are frequently unreadable).  It took a few minutes to find everything but I have seen a lot worse on most other sites that make changes.

I had a problem trying it out this morning and this is what happened when the captcha box popped up:

I'm using FireFox, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. Will try it again tomorrow morning and see what happens.  

(Went ahead and completed the DCE using the old page)

This was caused by your session expiring (getting logged out).  It shouldn't happen quickly but sometimes it does.  I think I've nailed down the issue, but if it does pop up again, I also changed it to display a friendlier error message (and solution to re-login) rather than re-loading FC again inside itself.  Please let me know if you encounter this again.

I like it, but I wish the Community Forum was on the home page and the account page instead of being separate now.

I liked the new page, I only was able to use it on my cell phone, but it looked fairly simple. I haven't used it on my pc yet, In hope it looks as simplesitdid on my phone.

  Didn't choose the option to see the new deal with DCE but I guess I will tomorrow.  I used to think I was alright with change now it strikes terror in my heart.  I hate those captcha codes that look like they were written by a 2 year old and then scribbled over lol.  Oh well the only thing constant in life is change.

i have no problem with the new look,i like it except i wish they would change the looks of the forums that would be nice.just saying.

I like the new & the captcha worked for me when I clicked the daily email. I'm also using Foxfire.

I liked the new look was getting used to it and BAM it changed back...I thought I had did something wrong.. until I came to the good ole forum, that let me see it was only a test. I only completed PTC and a few tasks and everything went okay.

It has everything labeled so it works for me....I hope.

Thank you Admin for the response. I am sure you know what is best for the site.

I had no problems with errors or any thing of that nature, I am using FireFox (updated v.23).

I guess the first thing I noticed was how white and start everything was....I felt like putting on sunglasses to look at the screen BTW...I have the back light on my monitor turned all the way down. Navigation was not a problem for me because I knew what I was looking for...I did feel that new users would not find it so easy.

Please rest assured that I was not complaining....this was just a suggestion.

Tried again this morning and it worked this time...thanks for the fix, Admin!! 

On another note, and perhaps others can jump in on their experience (or lack of) with this:

When I did the PTC this morning and completed all the steps, I attempted to go to my account from the PTC page and it wouldn't go, and also nothing happened when I clicked on the "Refresh this page to see your updated status" link.

I really do not like change.  However, the new layout is very nice and the only thing that is missing for me, is the last 4 forum posts, so that I can respond to current matter = guess I will have to find a new way, other than that, this is great!  Good work FC!
