WINDOWS MESSENGER TROUBLE ANYONE?

Did anyone else have trouble with their Window's Messenger yesterday? (6-8-09)??  I had the srangest thing happen on my messenger - ALL MY CONTACTS JUST DISAPPEARED AND IT IS THE WEIRDEST THING - I just wondered if anyone else had any "strange happenings" with their Window's Messenger?

I didn't notice any issue.  But i was away from my computer most of the day.

my windos messenger has stopped being able to access the internet....

I've tried all the trouble shooting....

I even un-installed it, and downloaded a new version...... 

no help at all....

so i gave up on it..... 

I use yahoo messenger mostly anyway......

Mine was doing okay except for a couple of times when I was chatting with a friend. It finally cleared up but I don't really use it now.

Not Windows Messenger but my Yahoo Messenger just quit and left me a pop-up note stating the .DLL file was missing.  I contacted Yahoo and they said that as of 6/9/09 they no longer use the Windows program I was using (98) it was now considered outdated and that I should update my Windows program.  Oh well, I got an old computer...so what (lol)...I can still access FusionCash! (rofl)

I didn't encounter any problems with windows messenger.  Did you contact tech support to find out what caused the problem?
