Someone hacked my account and stole my money
« on: June 08, 2009, 03:26:13 pm »
I had about 43.00 in my account almost 2 months ago and fusioncash finally responded to my emails after 6 weeks but its too late somebody already cashed out my money. It went to:
Braulio Aguilar
24128 w hadley st
Buckeye, AZ 85236
I find when I was finally able to login to my account my info had been changed to this and my money was gone. What BS. If FC didn't take so long!
Has this happened to anyone else?

That"s SCARY--I am so paranoid about that kind of thing..had the same thing happen to me 2 days ago with my personal Bank a/c..someone was trying (fraudently), to access my a/c.  Thankfully, the bank was on top of things, and managed to stop the activity.  I am sorry this happened to you..there should be some security measures in place..like a personal pin # or some other piece of personal info which will identify the correct owner.  Don't know if (or how) you will pursue this, but if you decide to follow through, I hope you get the "B-----d," who did this.  You're right--that is B>S>  Good luck.

wow dude ... That really sucks ... Why didn't you log on in the 2 months that you said you didn't though? (well even if you did if someone hacked your account they woulda gotten more money ...)

Thanks. I'm lucky I deleted my bank info right before this happened. I had to because I did one of those cc offers for freecreditreport and they ripped me off over $60 and I was hoping the money I made on FC would make up for the negative account it did me for and I go to find out my $47.05 was taken from me. go figure. I think I've been taken for more money then I gained on survey sites. I need to be more careful I guess.

uhhh....ISN'T THERE SOMETHING FUSIONCASH COULD DO ABOUT THAT? BECAUSE FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS DIRECT DEPOSIT THAT'S SO UNSECURE THAT ANYONE COULD HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION. hOW CAN FC ALLOW SOMETHING LIKE THIS TO HAPPEN, BECAUSE i KNOW THAT INORDER TO CONFIRM YOUR ACCOUNT, USUALLY THEY CALL YOUR PHONE TO VERIFY, SO THERE SHOULD BE SOME KIND OF SECURITY THERE, ESPECIALLY IF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS OUT THERE.

ARE YOU SERIOUS? HOW COULD THEY ALLOW THAT? THIS COULD HAPPEN TO ANYONE. iT SOUNDS A BIT DISCOURAGING!

I am glad I don't do direct deposit.  I don't think that I will either.

What happened to you is a shame. Fusioncash should be embarassed that they allowed such a thing to happen and they definately need to make it up to you in some way. It should have been suspicious that your information was changed completely. There should be some sort of measure put in place to prevent such a thing from ever happening again. If you have the person's information, you should be able to file a report or something with the police.

When you give your bank info to an outsider, you are giving them carte blanche to do whatever they want to do in your account.  That happened to me some years ago (I was a total innocent) where I gave out personal/confidential info to a company I was placing an order with.  I learned my lesson the hard way.

I would never again give out my personal/confidential info to anyone or company.  The results are too frightening.

I think FC dropped the ball on this one.

Is Fusioncash offering you rembursment? You should take some sort of action against the person. It was good of you to but it out here, so that if it has or ever does happen to anyone, they can learn from your experiences. You should also try to make sure that you change your password to something known only by you, and you don't ever accidentally remain logged on if the computer is one that can be accessed by others.

You're obviously back in Fusion Cash because you are posting.  Have you sent a support ticket?

I sent a support ticket about reimbursement exactly a week from today and fusioncash has not sent me a reply back. This is the reason why it took me so long to get back into my account because they would never answer me.
