Castro sentenced to life in prison without parole

I watched HLN news this morning and heard that Ariel Castro, the man who kidnapped 3 women and held them for a decade, has 997 counts of charges against him.  He is being sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.  I know he will never see the light of day, but how do you feel about that?

I'm hoping the inmates will take care of him, but not in a good way,what a terrible person.know there is a youtube of the 3 girls haven't watched someone said one of the girls seems disturbed. you'd have to be to have gone threw what they did.

Have to agree with potluck3, hope the inmates take good care of him!  So glad he will never get out again and possibly hurt another girl.

The first person I thought of when I heard the name Castro when the news broke was Fidel Castro from Cuba, the dictator.  He was a vicious, mean person.  But this Castro took mean and vicious to a new level.  When I heard all those charges and his sentence, I said that he is getting what he deserves.  He chose to plead guilty because, had he been tried, the world would have gone ballistic and sentenced him to the death penalty.  If the court system would have released him, he was going to die anyway because nobody likes what he did.   He considered his options carefully because, with him pleading guilty, he avoided going to trial and having the world judge him as a sick individual.

I think he should have to do hard labor every day to pay for his keep.The tax payers certainly shouldn't be supporting him. Very sick guy!!

I think all inmates should have to work to earn their keep.
