There are times when change may be good.  I went back to school at the age of 50 because I wanted something better out of life.  I thank my late grandmother for instilling the importance of an education into me.  Because of her, I finally understand what she meant.  I am letting nothing stop me, and will acquire two degrees; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minor degree in Information Systems from Ashford University Online.  Your friend wants nothing better out of life than what she is doing right now.  She has gotten accustomed to working like a slave.  I won't let naysayers stop me because none of them is giving me anything.  I am worth more than the naysayers would like to believe.  Good luck to you and your friend.

Well change is the only costant in life lol. I think everyone is afraid of not so much "change" but dealing with a new situation because of the feelings of anxiousness that always brings.

I used to be afraid of change but not anymore. I embrace it and enjoy it.

I don't know that I am "afraid" of change but I do not usually look forward to it.  In my job there are mountains of regulatory changes all the time, so I have become somewhat used to the climate of change.  Change seems to be the one constant of life whether we like it or not--quite an oxymoron.

It depends on what kind of changes. On certain things, I do afraid and avoid to have changes though I know changes can be good!! But it's me!! :(

No, I don't fear change.  I don't generally like change, but I don't fear it.

I'm not afraid of change.  Sometimes change is a good thing.  Be open minded and hope for the best.

I love change, I hate being in a rut and get bored when things are always the same.  I just don't like the change that happens when a death happens, that is a rough one to cope with.
