what is your favorite cartoon character for young children?

My favorite for children is Sponge Bob because he is funny and keep a majority of young children interested. Also they have many things that look like spongebob so the young can have a toy also.

Doc McStuffins is my favorite hands down for my 5 yr old daughter!!! I also like the team umizoomi characters and sofia the first I try to steer her away from sponge bob or any cartoons that don't have any educational value....

I hate Sponge Bob. lol.  I think he is a bad influence.  Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood really help the attention of a kid I use to baby sit.  I also like the Cat in the Hat and Curious George.

For young children, I would vote for animal characters such as Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck (although Donald has been known to display fits of temper).  The superheroes are great for older children, but maybe a little complex (and violent) for the little ones.

Give me the cartoon characters from the 1960's and 1970's.  My grandson likes the Fairly Odd Parents and Spongebob Squarepants, but I got tired of watching them.  He also looks at Sprout and PBS.  He loves Caillou, Sid the Science Kid, Super Why, Arthur, and Thomas and His Friends.

Strawberry Shortcake And Old School Looney Tunes And Tom And Jerry.

I Must Say That it's Not So Much About Favorite.  In My Opinion
Any Cartoon That Teaches A Child Something Is My Favorite.

But One Thing I Will Say,Out Of All The CartooNs That She Has Ever Watched, The Old Looney
Tunes Makes Her Laugh The Hardest.
