How often do you talk to your Parents?

I visited with my parents at the beginning of May for a five day funeral.  I visited them again the second week of July so that my children and wife could enjoy some vacation time with them. They live in Arizona and we live in Colorado so the ten to twelve hour drive can be a bit expensive and exhausting.  I try to call them every two weeks and get a card out to them once every six weeks.  The frequency seems to have increased as their health has started to deteriorate...maybe because they are home more and appreciate our visits more.  Seeing the grandchildren gives them something to brag about.

I talk to my mother about three times a week and I talk to my father once a week.

Be fortunate that you are still able to talk to your parents. My mom passed away in 2011 from cancer. As for my father - we lost connection many years ago.

My mother who is 92, lives in an assisted living facility.  I visit her 3-4 days a week. We have a lot of fun together.  My father passed away years ago, but I would love to talk to him again.

Both my parents are gone but, my wife talks to her Dad, Her Mom has passed, every night just to see how he is doing. He is 83.

My dad passed away this past January and we weren't big on conversation but I loved him and he loved me.  Now my mom I talk to every day especially since my dad passed away and she is all alone.  My brother and I try to call and text her several times a day.

My mom passed away in 1978 and my real father in 1981. But he did did not raise us. My stepfather did. Although mom passed away at an early age (52) he had been our father for 24 years and still is. I talk to him at least 3 times a week and go out to the house a couple times a week. He has been getting over some serious medical problems. My brother goes over about 4 time a week and gets him when he is going out to haul water to the cows, We just have not had enough rain to fill the earthern dams here yet. But it is green now And my sister comes in from Alaska every 4 months for 2 weeks and all we hear is how much she has to do for him. Oh well i will just keep on cleaning, cooking, laundry and hauling him back and forth  80 miles (1) way every 2-5 times a month. He was a good step dad to us. And still is

My dad has passed away.  My mother lives out of state, so I don't get to see her very often.  I talk to her on the phone at least once a month.

  I talk to both my mother and my father every single day.. but maybe that is because I live in the same house as them...lol

I hardly talk to them and they hardly talk to me my parents are like you keep your secrets/stories I keep mine, But from time to time I ask them how was your day and such.

My mom is deceased, but I talk to my dad at least one time per week....

I wish both my parents were alive still so that I could talk to them. When they were here though I talked to them every day.
