I have a low count too. I've seen where they say not to count on your referrals to make money though. I have tweeted my referral link or posted it as a status. Maybe call family members. Other than that, I'm not sure there is much else you can do to get them.  :dontknow:

My suggestion would to place a notice on grocery store bulletin boards with your referral numbers on bottom of the page as a fringe.  People can pull a fringe tag and take it with them.

This seems to be a topic of interest in various forums.  I recently read this topic in a different forum.  You can do a search using the FC toolbar search: Cashcrate + Forum. It's public access.  (KUDOS to their forum posters.) There is a thread re: getting referrals. It's worth reading the suggestions about creating a 'Signature' and joining other topic forums.

Neat idea. I will have to try that. I know another site that pays me to use coupons so the supermarket idea seems ideal.

You can post banners and flyers until you are blue in the face, but if you want real active referrals you need to discover a problem they are suffering acute pain from, then offer them a simple solution they can see themselves doing and enjoying the emotions that would create for them.

If you had a serious toothache that was driving you up the wall and your car was broke down, what would you do to get a ride to the nearest dentist?

Now if your budget was drained and you had NO discretionary funds and no way you can see to get them, what would you do If I showed you some free money you could just pick up?

Trust me, you wouldn't go roaming around town looking at flyers or clicking on banners you saw on Facebook. Those things are all scams, everyone knows that.

But what if you met one of your peers somewhere online and they shared that they felt just like you feel now at one time, then they found the answer and it works.

Bottom Line: TALK TO PEOPLE

For me the problem isn't getting referrals but keeping them active. I have 14 I wish would start doing stuff

Thank you Olebuddy! That is great advice we just have to find what people are looking for, which is usually a little extra money to make ends meet. Some money is better than no money people just have to spend the time to invest,   and it does not take that much time out of your day it can be done! They just have to want it bad enough!

I can tell you one thing, I DO and I can prove it works. Make sure YOU can prove it works even if you need to wear your fingers to the bone! Once you do, it sticks with you forever and just keeps getting better.

Some people think now that I have hundreds of referrals I should be able to kick back, but I am here every day clicking away like a mad man, picking up every penny I can find and stashing them away until cashout. It sets the example and if you are not willing to do that, how can you expect anyone else to. Trust me, you may think your referrals never read your posts in this forum, BUT THEY DO!

WOW! That is great 14 referrals? Maybe you could put the info back on the site you got your referrals from and tell them they are missing some extra money! This might get them to try it! Some people just cannot find the time! I had a retiree that said she just did not have the time to sit at the computer. Oh well she is just going to miss out until she finds some time. I offered it that is all you can do!

If she was close enough to tell you that, you should have said, "How about 10 Minutes a Day?" Then get her to do the 2 cent email, 15 cent PTC and something to earn another 5 cents, that's it! Once she gets that free money in her fingers, her whole outlook could change. I know mine did and I went crazy! Some of my early cashouts were over $300!

Thanks for all the great advice. I do try talking to people and showing them 1st hand how I make money online (thanks you smart phones). Yet people still think it is a scam or not worth the time to do so. And i am not looking to rack up ref's just so I can sit back and do nothing, a lot of the stuff I do here I enjoy. What guy doesn't like the today's babe in daily clicks ;). I try not to post to much on facebook/twitter I use that more for pics of my daughter and chatting with old friends. I have tried a blog in the past and got a few followers but it seemed to take up to much time with no result. I am a member to a few forums but that does not seem to help. Most people place their ref links there but not click them (myself included). I but agree with oldbuddy, you need to relate with people to get them to join and not push it on them. problem there is I've already talked with all my friends about it. (ones with money problems and such) and only got 1 ref. But it is an active ref.

But there has been a lot of good info in this tread that I hope helps me and everyone else. I will continue to try getting refs and hope you all will continue to post advice, as this is info we all like to know. Thank you very much everyone.

I am never great at getting referrals so I would be better off sticking to what I know best.

Probably one of the toughest things to do is sign up referrals. It is a matter of learning how to market yourself and then getting your opportunity out there. Oldbuddy makes it look easier than it is, but he is at it everyday. Watch his videos.

That's exactly how it gets to be easier, do it every day.
