I prefer to have cable but Satellite TV is cheaper in my area so I choose to be frugal.

Cable is better than satellite. Cable stays the same in bad weather. Satellite loses their signal in bad weather. Cable also have more channels.

I have had both.  Use to have cable and it got to be so expensive that I went with the triple bundle with centurylink.  I now have dish network.  I love the picture quality with satellite, but when the weather is bad it goes out a lot.

Both are great to have and are expensive but I think that digital cable is a better choice because you get the same amount of channels and it also has the same picture quality as satellite too, so to me they are all the same

I like Cable better. When I lived near a big city I had Cable. Now that I live in the country there is no Cable here. I have Satellite and every time it rains hard it goes out. Very annoying. Miss my cable but not the city.

I never had cable but checked on it and its more expensive than Satellite TV I just switched from Dish network to Direct TV right now I get more channels and they gave me the Gennie and dish network (we where with them for 11 years and they wouldn't give me the hopper without a $400 deposit and its just like the genie but it records only 5 channel rather than 6 and I had no deposit so I switched.

Since I live in condos now, I have to do what the home owner's association allows.  So far the one's I have belonged to only allow cable and you have to get their approval if you want to have satellite.  In any case I have heard stories of those with satellite where bee's have made nests in the dish, disrupting the transmission.  Also, weather can be a factor.  I still prefer cable.

I have cable and have never had any problems.  It rarely goes out and we get tons of channels.

We have cable and every year the cost goes up while the service stays the same.  We are thinking of going with satellite.
