My belief that Zimmerman was not guilty is based on the evidence, which has nothing to do with race. Zimmerman shouldn't have gotten out of his truck and Trayvon shouldn't have went back to confront him after Zimmerman was headed back to his truck. However, both were well within their legal rights to do so. None of that really has anything to do with Trayvon attacking Zimmerman, which caused him to act in self defense and is why he was found to be not guilty. This was never a race issue.

Do you still not understand that the burden of proof lies with the prosecution? We do know that Zimmerman’s injuries were not self-inflicted because an eyewitness called by the prosecution no less testified that Trayvon was on top of him using a ground and pound, MMA-style technique. Your responses continue to be based off emotion and not actual evidence. You need evidence to prove guilt. That evidence doesn’t exist, which is why he was found not guilty. It’s really that simple.

In my opinion this is a sad case no matter how you look at it.  Nothing can bring back the young man that died.  There are crimes being committed and both gun and non-gun violence.   I am sure there are things both parties could have done differently to avoid the conflict but now that it is done.  It is just sad regardless of the outcome in the courts.

At the end of the day my thoughts are I do not want this type of profile because my black son is headed home. However you try to justify something I pray each day he will be looked at as a person who is just going home. No matter what. I pray he does not get followed or be presume guilty of something just because he black and headed home in a neighborhood he live in, who has had problems with other black youths.

DNA results and Autopsy results would have to "prove" that Trayvon Martin actually "caused" Zimmerman's injuries in order for anyone, including a jury, to conclude Zimmerman acted in self defense when he killed an unarmed Trayvon Martin.  However, the DNA results and the Autopsy results do not support Zimmerman's claim that Trayvon Martin "caused" injuries to his face or head.  Meaning, DNA results and the Autopsy suggest Trayvon Martin is not the "cause" of Zimmerman's injuries. The Jury will see the DNA report shows that none of Zimmerman's DNA was under Martin's fingernails. George Zimmerman told detectives (time 34:46 in video after the orange squiggle) that he had "blood all over [his] face and eyes."  We know from pictures officer's took of Zimmerman moments after he killed Trayvon that Zimmerman did not really have blood covering his eyes.  That said, if Trayvon had been punching Zimmerman in the nose 25 to 30 times, as Zimmerman claims, then some of Zimmerman's blood would be all over the cuff/sleeve of Trayvon Martins hoodie.

No, the burden of proof still lies with the prosecution. Feel free to relay that to the author of the article you plagiarized.

Wait, seriously? Let's refresh. You commented on one of my posts, I responded, and we preceded to have what most people would consider to be a conversation. I responded to your post because it was directed towards me. I chose to "skip across" other posts, including some of yours, because they weren't directed towards me and didn't require my response.

I find it really interesting how the new juror that has come forward, said that Zimmerman got away with murder, but will have to face God.  She was willing to speak her mind without concealing her idenity.  She was not ashamed to speak her feelings.  The first juror that was so pro Zimmerman, and kept calling him George, made sure her idenity was concealed and that she was in the dark.  It speaks volumes.
