  WELL I THINK THESE SITES REALY WANT PEOPLE TO BE ON THERE SITE. They should benifit from it in some sort of way, ans they do get some sort of info on what we want and what they should provide

I just heard on the radio, the stats presented as news, to one of the surveys I took not too long ago...... 


so i guess thats where they use them too....

Companies want to know what people think, taste, smell, see, hear, etc. about their products/services.  It is mostly about pleasing the consumer and making money.
