Am I the only one who is not a Starbucks fan??

I used to be a Starbucks fan but came to the realization that I was dropping tons of cash there...as was my wife.  The food isn't very good and the doughnuts are twice what you would pay at a grocery store.  Before we bought a five hundred dollar espresso machine (that grinds its own beans and solls them out in perfectly measured, tamped servings) we figured that we were dropping about a thousand dollars a year at Starbucks!  That is insane! In six months of not going to starbucks we were able to recover the cost of an expensive machine and the coffe is even better that what we would get from a Starbuck's barista!

That is why I love my folgers. I drink as much I want for a price of one medium cup of
coffee from starbucks.

Nope, your not. There are things that I like that they serve (chai latte), but their coffee is gross.  A few years ago i ordered a medium roast and when i drank it it tasted like cat urine smelled. I kid you not. Threw it away. havent been back.

I, too, have never been to Starbucks.  I also love my Folgers.  Best coffee you can buy.  I have never believed in buying something just for the name.  You are usually just advertising their product as well as spending a fortune on it.

You are not alone!! I have been in one starbucks location and that was only to meet a client and then go to lunch from there. I have never in my life understood why any body would pay the prices they want for coffee, coffee that I understand is not any better than premium brands that are available in grocery stores.

i like starbucks, i drink there coffee sometimes but, actually i make my own,  home made is always better what, i really like from starbucks is there lemon lofts they, are so good.

I have tried Starbucks a couple of times and was not impressed. They tend to be very expensive. I'm into a plain decaf coffee with milk so maybe that's why I didn't find them impressive.

It is good but when you realize the quality of things you are getting are available at the grocery store you kind of start to wonder why everything at starbucks cost so much. Convenience comes at a price.

I don't frequent any coffee shops because I would have to get dressed, get the car, and drive to the shop to get coffee.  I make coffee at home with my Keurig.
