question about cashouts
« on: July 03, 2013, 12:01:30 pm »
Quick question.  I make around $100 every month here on FC.  I would like to let my cash out amount reach a high amount (like $500)before I cash out.  Does it take longer to get your cash out approved if you do this or does it take the same amount of time.  I already have $231 plus for a balance and I would like to wait about 2 months to cash out when my balance is $500.  I know if I cash out the last day of a month you get your approval around the 19th or 20th of the following month.  My question is.....If I have a higher balance and like 4 or 5 months worth of credits, does it take longer for approval.  Thanks for the help.  I don't want to risk losing any credits because I know that they are only valid for 180 days (6 months).

I have seen not 'qualifiers' posted in the FC rules that would indicate that your larger cash out request would be treated any different than ones of a smaller amount. The amount should not matter at all, it is only a 'number' for FC to deal with and the process of approval should be treated the identical way. I am positive that if larger cash outs were in anyway an issue for FC they would have some very clear statements about that published in the rules.

I've never waited longer than necessary to cash out but I doubt you would lose anything unless you waited more than 6 months  (credits older than 180 days old are lost.)

You do realize that you are giving up the $1.00 bonus for posting your cash out when you defer your cash outs to receive a larger amount.

Congratulations on earning more than $100/month!  Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the info....Yea I realize i'm giving up the $1 for the pic bonus but I guess its a small price to pay.  I would just rather get one nice large check as opposed to 5 $100 checks.

That's your option.

Just what out for the 180 day rule.  When your oldest credits get within 30 days of the 180 day limit, you will see a red notice above the credit saying that it will expire in XX days.  That only helps, though, if you actually look at the bottom credits in your account.
