Are you scanning your check or taking a picture of it? If it's a picture, try selecting and copying the image and paste in Word or Paint.  From here you should be able to re-size your image and save it.

I have tried every way I know how and can not get mine to post. It is always too big or the wrong file or something else. I wish there was a easier way

1. Find File on Desktop
2. Right click and "open as"
3. Select "Paint"
4. In the new window, click UPPER LEFT corner and then select "SAVE AS"
5. Select ".jpeg"

If this doesn't work, just go back to the regular page (where the photo is) and reduce the size (it's the "RESIZE" on the toolbar...top left).

Then save the file and upload.

You are in the right spot, just need to do a bit more clicking!

Open up your check photo in Paint and hit the resize button. Change the selection from percentage to PIXELS, make sure the box for "Maintain aspect ratio" is checked. Then set your horizontal pixels to be less than 1000. (FC states less than a 1000, I usually go a bit smaller. My last approved check was set at 797 wide by 318.) Then just save as a .jpeg and submit it.

Let me know if this works or if you have more questions! Don't forget to cover your name and address.
