I am a chocolate fan.  So is my husband.  He likes to buy neapolitan ice cream (chocolate, vanilla and strawberry) and discovered that my grandson doesn't like strawberry ice cream.  I like chocolate anything, as long as it does not contain marshmallows.  I also do not eat chocolate covered cherries.  There is a reason why; I went to school with a girl whose mother, when she was pregnant with her, marked her by wiping the eyes of a bulldog.  My friend eyes would run like a bulldog.  One of my friends gave her a box of chocolate covered cherries at lunchtime.  She opened the box, bit into the cherry and, due to her eyes running like a bulldog and the cream running out of the cherry, I lost my appetite.   I hated it too, because it was Friday, and it was hamburger day.  I gave my lunch away that day and haven't eaten one since.

Definately chocolate, although I guess it would depend on the context. Some desserts are more delicious made with vanilla. But chocolate is awesome!

I think chocolate because I can eat it stand alone. Whenever I eat vanilla as in ice cream , I have to add something to it like chocolate! hehe

Vanilla is better for me.... Vanilla is sweet, but it can be a bit boring... Chocolate is good, but if I eat to much of it I get a bleeding nose

I have never understood when someone says they don't like chocolate.  I know we all have different flavors that we like, but to me, chocolate is the ultimate good flavor!  Some chocolates taste better than others, but if you get the right one, nothing could taste better.  And I can't end this post without giving a shout out to vanilla, as well.  It comes in second, but vanilla flavoring is something I love too!

well vanilla is versatile and chocolate has its own distinct taste..
