How do you feel about the gay marriage act? do you believe that gay couples should have the same benefits of heterosexual couples?

I think everyone should be able to marry whoever they want to. I made that mistake once, I will NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER do it again. Did I say NEVER? LOL.

I think gay couples should be able to get married, and yes, they should have the same benefits.

Love is love. If you want to share that with someone of your same sex and prove that with marriage, then you should be able to without a fight.

I am open to certain subject matters.  However, God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve, or Eve and Amanda.  But a person cannot help whom they chose to fall in love with.  My nephew is gay (he was molested from the ages of 5 through 7), a cousin who has been gay for years (her first encounter was with their babysitter), and my niece is also gay.  My cousin has been with her lover for years.  My nephew struggled with his sexuality for years, got a girlfriend, bought her a necklace and she dumped him.  He now is full blown gay.  My niece (I am not sure what happened in her case), but she broke down one day after being dumped by her lover.  I wanted to be sympathetic, but I wouldn't want anyone who didn't want me. ??? :o ???

No, I do not think they should have the same rights because they should not be able to get marry.  Listen people, God do not make mistakes, if he wanted two men or two women to be together he would have just make man and not woman.  Why do you think when the earth was destroyed before he saved two of everything one male and one female of everything so the earth can grow and mutiple.  This world could not if he only made man, he did not want man to be alone so he created Wo-man so the earth could mutiple, think about it. :peace:

I think they should be allowed to marry and have the same benefits we have.  I had a hard time accepting the gay lifestyle, but through my job and my husband's job we have met some gay couples.  I know of two different couples, without thinking hard, who have been together many years.  One couple has been together longer than my husband and I have.  If my husband dies, I will get his money, pension, insurance policies, etc.  If he is in the hospital they can give me information on his condition, etc.  The situation is the same for him with me, but not for gay people, and that's not fair or right.   A person can't help they are gay, that's just the way they were born.  Agree with it or not, the country is accepting gay marriages and they should.

i support gay marriage because whats the point in limiting their rights? they're people too...
the more rights for everyone, the better right?

I am strictly heterosexual and a Christian, but I don't know why benefits should be denied to people based on what they do behind closed doors. That is none of my business.

I believe that gays should have the same rights as heterosexuals. We should be able to marry whomever we want and not be treated different.
