I am not going to say he is innocent nore will i say he is guilty. None of us know the whole story except wha the news media puts out and they are all biase. A person would have to be at the trail to hear all of the evidence. The young man had no cuts and bruises on him. Zimmerman had the back of his head cut some. Who knows for sure. Bt if he is half way found innocent then ther side is going to throw a fit. But if it had been the races were switched we would not have heard so much about it.

There hasn't been a shred of evidence to get a murder conviction. Reminds me a lot of the Duke lacrosse case.

Having followed this case (watching the trial live on FOX news) I agree that the prosecution failed to present any evidence that a rational jury could determine Zimmerman guilty of anything. The local police were correct in not charging him with any crime in the first place, and that this trial only came about due to outside influences; much of which was financed by Eric Holder's justice department! (What the heck the US DOJ was about is horrendous and needs to be investigated in depth!)

The case has now been turned over to the jury. They will consider the prosecution's case which is all emotion and supposition and 'what ifs'.  Considering that the jury is composed of all females, I can imagine that there is a possibility that some of them might want a guilty verdict on some reduced charge through some sort of sympathy.

IF the matter does come out in some form of guilty verdict, I believe the judge has made some errors in her actions/instructions and Zimmerman would have sufficient grounds to appeal and prevail there.

I have not watched the Zimmerman trial, except for hearing excerpts of it on the news.  He deserves what he gets.  Look at the facts; he called the police and they told him not to keep following Trayvon Martin.  He chose to ignore that advice.  Why?  Because Trayvon was wearing a hoodie and had no weapon on him.  He died at the hands of George Zimmerman.  Personally, I hope he gets the death penalty because he killed that young man and I do not agree with everything he claimed.  He set out to stop doing his job to kill a 17 year old, and he is an adult.  If he gets off, trust me, there is going to be chaos.  Justice must prevail here. ??? :o ???
It`s clear you haven`t watched the trial, Zimmerman did in fact stop following Trayvon and was headed towards his car. It`s very sad that this young man lost his life, he probably didn`t deserve that, but the facts have shown he wasn`t the squeaky clean 17 year old the state would have you believe. Let`s face it, this is a trajedy and we all picked the wrong proffesion, it looks as though if we had all gotten a law degree, we could have joined the incompetent Florida state`s prosecutorial branch and made big bucks doing a half *bleep* job

I have listen to the trial and yes I will be following it because Zimmerman shot the kid in cold blood, first of all he should have just left the kid along and did what the 911 dispatcher said, "don;t follow him", but he did and he needs to pay. (death penalty).

The dispatcher said don't follow him so that means he killed him in cold blood?  The logic confuses me...  This thinking is a result of people buying into what the media has said just to get ratings.  People just don't like to think for themselves for some reason...

Who has been watching coverage of the Zimmerman Trial? What are your thoughts and comments on the trial so far? What has stuck out to you yet?
Seems kind of one-sided with only 6 jurors. I am also surprised that they all are women, and only 1 is not a mother. I know that he could have doe things differently and the boy would still be alive. Sometimes the "cop"mentality can go to someone's head. The he made at the scene when someone offered to call his wife was"Tell her that I am just shot someone" Seems like he would at least want her to know that he wasn't shot, but he never mentioned it. Makes you wonder what was really important!

I have tried not to watch it because I find 24 hour news channels toxic.  So many opinions, not enough facts.

Assuming that this is everything and that it is accurate, I agree with you. This is what I heard right after it happened. However, it seems that the media is really good at putting a spin on stories that suits them, hiding stories that are important, etc. So, I wonder how accurately this story was reported.

I have been watching been da trail and I don't believe Zimmerman will win this. He called da cops n they told him to not follow trayvon but he did anyway. He had da gun locked n loaded b4 he approached trayvon. if u listened to da phone call da witness made, u will hear da screaming stopped right after da gun shot went off (who was martin). this fool wanted to start trouble and kill martin............*bleep*.
The pat of the trial I watched disputes what you`re saying. Zimmerman was walking back to his car after the phone call according to the defenses argument. The media has already found Zimmerman guilty and even the federal dept. of justice sponsored rallies against Zimmerman, so the whole truth will not be known.

I think in order to have a "valid" opinion, one would have to have followed this trial from day one and I don't mean just the "excepts" that the MSM wants to show!!!  Unless you are sitting in the court room, listening to each and every witness, statement, and so forth, there cannot be an honest, valid opinion!!!
