Comparing HP to Canon printers, Canon rates better.
HP is inferior.

I had an HP printer that was really great. When it finally wore out, I got another one, a cheap one from Walmart, and it gave me trouble from the start. I got a Canon printer, and it works good, but it only takes genuine Canon ink, so it gets pretty expensive. At least the HP printers take the cheap remanufactured ink.

I have used HP Printers for years and have never had a problem.
