To those who believe in prayer

Please say a prayer for my very good friend. She is fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer. the first round of chemo kept the cancer at bay but now it is back.  ............Thank you!

I will be praying. I attend a small Southern Baptist Church with a lot of older people. Many of them of are struggling with cancer of various type and stages. My heart goes out to them and your friend.

Prayer is communication between man and God. A family that incorporates prayer into their lifestyle are giving the ultimate gift to themselves. Life is difficult and suffering is an inevitable part of life. A family that prays knows that they can turn to God and be accepted and loved for who they are. Every human being needs to turn to God with his or her triumphs and failures and know that life is meaningful. A family that prays together has the ultimate support system.

I don't understand why a person has to ask somebody else to pray for them. If your prayers aren't being heard or answered, what makes you think somebody else will be heard any clearer? I mean it seems to me asking somebody else to pray for you is like saying your prayers aren't enough.
