My husband just told me about what happened and was very upset. He LOVED the Sopranos. I have actually never really watched the show but I've heard it was good.

When I heard that news last night I was shocked. I like James Gandolfini very much as an actor. He will be missed for sure. R.I.P. James Gandolfini.

Sopranos was avery good show he was perfect as Tony. He was good guy versus bad guy. It was a show I never missed sometimes you loved him and another time you wanted him dead. What a great actor he was.

The weirdest thing about James Gandolfini's death is that for about the past week, there has been an internet death hoax about him.  I was absolutely floored when I heard he died yesterday.  Being Italian, I naturally believe that someone gave him the Evil Eye.  RIP, JAMES GANDOLFINI.

I was not a follower of the sopranos but, watched it a few times. He was a good actor and the show was very good. Growing up in NY and Living in NJ for 9 years, this show was more reality than the reality shows. It is a shame he passed at such a young age but, I heard he was putting on quite a bit of weight toward the end. One of his friends even said He loved to eat. I think this might have been a big contributor to his demise. Sorry for the two Young children he left.

Thanks, adg35, that is a very good article. I really enjoyed watching Mr. Gandolfini on The Sopranos, but he had a lot of good roles in a lot of films, as well. One of his best roles, in my opinion, was the gay hitman in The Mexican, wih Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt. The movie wasn't all that great, but he made it worth watching. He will be missed.  :icon_rr:
