This statement gets truer and truer the older we get.  I am sure that trend will continue for both us and life being short is one of the only things that we all truly have in common.

My current goal is to get a job and move out.  I started FC and other online earning since I didn't have a job and while my parents are okay with that, I wanted some additional money while I was working on my portfolio and resume.  It bugs me that I haven't found one yet but I still have my summer job so that sorta helps me feel like I'm doing something, though I'd love to have one in my field to finally get that confirmation that this is what I want.

Losing weight is the one thing that I keep trying to accomplish and keep failing at miserably.  Every year I start a routine and it seems to get ended either by a death or family illness or just the fact I don't seem to be losing despite working out every day.  Once I get a handle on that, I'll be a bit happier about spending so much time at a computer.

I like to believe time is going by quicker because it is getting closer to the time for the Lord Jesus Christ to return!

I will be 50 years old on August 28th, and I can remember hearing my parents say that the end time is near.
I am glad that I am still here; I am very blessed and I think often that life is too short to worry about things
that I cannot change. I am a breast cancer survivor and see life a little different than I did before. However, I
still say that life is too short to worry about the things I cannot change and just long enough to thank God daily
for guidance and strength.

Hearing people say "life is short" really makes me depressed. I'm getting closer to 30 and I'm indifferent to it.

I agree, life is short. However,  I have an aunt who is 92 and said she feels like she has been around forever and does not plan to leave anytime soon. She still drives and walks around like she is much younger.

Squirrelgirl44 I don’t think many people are where they wanted to be at a certain age because when you envision your life as a youngster you don’t take into account the inevitable obstacles life will throw your way but you are right, the best thing to do id and live to the fullest.

Stretch1967 grab your future and don’t fall into the past- I like that quote!

Mary I agree; positivity is the way 

Mrisha Exactly!

Bigfoot951 I think we have more in common than we think

Demaina  Working on your portfolio is progress, eventually things will unfold. Once you make your mind up to lose weight you will.

Sangless who says you only have 30 years left? What are you doing now so that one year from now you can guarantee yourself some level of progress?

Maxinmotion Congrats!!! Great insight

Swkstudent if you are indifferent how can it make you depressed?

Ancmetro Amen!!

hkckk5 So did my great grandmother, isn’t that great?!  That just goes to show you the importance of making healthy lifestyle choices, even if it’s just having a positive mindset.

Life IS short.
I am overall happy with where I am in my life. I have a great job and I have 2 fantastic kids. I wish I had more money put away so I could travel more, but that's something I can work towards.
I think everyone should remind themselves that every day... you don't know when your time is up!
