Not sure where they are going to have a cool and wet summer but it will not be in Texas as our summers tend to run in the hot to very hot and dry.  In fact they are already at stage 3 water rationing in some of the member cities of the DFW metro mess and I suspect more will follow soon even though we had a couple of showers over the last weekend.  To be honest it would take an early season hurricane parking over the state to fill back up some of these resivors and lakes.

I'm expecting this summer to be pretty much the way every summer is. Decent bearable weather to start off and then some really hot and humid weather for a stretch in the middle before tapering off towards the end. We virtually never hit 100, but it can get pretty bad even in the 80's because of the humidity. It can feel like a sauna at times even though it won't hit 100 unless it's heat indexed due to the humidity. I'm going to be staying in those days unless I absolutely have to go out because hot, humid weather is a bit much for me.

I have a feeling this summer will be a wet and cool one. I like my summer hot; not too dry. I like to spend my time at the water parks.
Been  a decade since I have been to a waterpark. Here in the Dallas area, water restrictions have shut down some spray parks. Too bad for the kids. When I was growing up, we used the sprayer on the water hose and of course water balloon fights . This June we have had more rain than usual. I guess we are getting what we missed in April and May. I can't stand the humidity that comes with it though. Hopefully our fireworks show on the 4th will not be rained out. Don't you love a good fireworks show?

It has been hot and steamy with lots of showers in Northeastern KY so far this summer season.  Summer officially starts this Friday, 06/21/13.
Have a wonderful day!

Here in Yakima, WA. I think it will be another typical summer. I am not fully sure if it's going to be a wet one but I do know that it will be hot and warm. But just this morning the weather said it will be cloudy and little rain but it looks sunny outside. Yesterday it was about 89 or 90 degrees. Hopefully it will not be too hot.

I live in the south and we will have a very hot and humid summer. I plan to spend lots of time in my pool.  :)

I'm going to have 2 summers.  I live in northern California and, while it can get quite hot during the summer, it's usually pretty temperate and dry.  But I'm spending some of my summer in southern California, where it's almost always sunny.  I've been in southern California for 2 days so far and it's definitely warmer than where I live.  I guess I'll get the best of both worlds this summer!
