Father's Day, Sunday, June 16th

I have to work all day on Father's Day.

I created a special card for my dad and mailed it days ago.  We will see him and the whole family next weekend for my sister's wedding.

My dad died in 1994, but I still celebrate Father's Day remembering all the good times we had together.  Don't take your dad for granted. He won't be around forever.

Any special plan for father's day?

I will mail  out a few father days cards and then visit my father on Sunday.

 

I don't have my dad or my father-in-law anymore, so Father's Day are a trifle empty. Mother's Day is the same. Be thankful if you still have your parents. Celebrate them!

I don't have any special plans because my dad lives out of state. I really miss him.

I'm getting my dad insanity for fathers day. He's been looking at it a lot lately.

every year we go to my sons he has a bbq and all the fathers get together it is nice

I am fifty two and never had any kids so fathers day does not mean much to me.

Spend it with my Dad!  I'm so thankful to still have him with me.  He was resently diagnosed with prostate cancer and thank God that is the only place it is.  Talking with a surgeon today!  Praying hard!!!

The family goes to the zoo and then we take dad out to the local diner.

Your post helped me remember that I forgot to call my dad. It didn't even seem like father's day around here. We were allowed to return to our homes after a fire in our area. I got my husband all the star wars episodes on blu ray.

My hubby is getting a big leg of lamb lovingly roasted by me!

I lost my dad in 2008 but we do still have my father-in-law who will be 96 in August!  I cooked a casserole after church and we carried everything over to his house.  We ate then came home and packed our inside dogs stuff so he could spend a few days at our daughters' house, then we drove 2 hours to another daughters' lake house.  We fished and had a blast there; spent the night then drove on down another 2 hours to her regular house.  We stayed 2 nights there.  We went crabbing one day and got 31 crabs.  Our grandson cleaned them and we cooked them, shrimp and lots of other stuff.  It was a great time and I know my hubby really enjoyed his extended father's day!
