Of years ago in Florida. I had a wonderful time. We stayed at the Floridays Resort.

I would love to have a family reunion of some sort.  There are a lot of family members I have no idea about.  At this point, I am working on my family tree from my mother's side of the family.  A lot of my relatives have passed on, and there are a lot of newborn children that have been added to the tree.

We had one several years back with my husband's sisters and their families. His mom and dad are deceased and a lot of his other relatives, too. On my side of the family most are either dead or the older ones are to sick to go.

I has one two years ago but not all parents. I only reunite with my aunti that left
us when we were pre-teen when I was like 8yrs old and two years ago I was 40yrs old. We
reunite here in Tennessee. I was kind of happy and emotion, different kind of feeling, just
like you wanted to jump up and down and scream all the way. I was very long long time I've
haven't seen her and when we met she already have 3 kids and she's just became grandma.
When I saw her face, reminded me my mom face. Wondered why I felt that feeling wanted to
jump up and down. Kind of over whelming feeling at the same time I felt want to cry.. :'( :'(

We have a Family Reunion each June at the hometown City Park.

I am one of 7 kids.  It got to be too much work for my Mom and Dad to host Christmas with all of us and our families.....house too small, Mom would get stressed out thinking she had to clean etc.  Winter weather worries.

We solved it by our annual Family Reunion.  We reserve the Shelter House for the following year.  This way everyone knows what day it is next year and can get time off accordingly.

It works well for us.

We haven't had a family reunion for decades.  However we are all together for weddings (happy) and funerals (sad).  My family, including mother, brothers, children, grandchildren, all get together for a week every summer at a lake resort.  Its a blast and so nice to spend time with everyone in the family. We've been doing that since I was a child (back in the dark ages).

We used to have family reunions every year but so many people died off and no one wants to bother with them anymore.
