desk top or lap top

I have a desk top, but I am thinking about buying myself a lap top this Christmas.

I us my laptop to make money off the internet and I also repair computer on the side.

i have both....it depends on my need or time at what i am using ...normally at day time i prefer using desktop b/c it is in my living and easy to use at anytime.....

I also have both a desktop and macbook pro but I only use my macbook now. That is only cause i don't have anywhere to have my desktop. i haven't forgot about it n will use it again once i have a spot for it.

prefer laptop.you can take it anywhere with you.

I have both also but, I use my Laptop alot more often than my desktop. My desktop is probably about 8yrs old where my laptop has built in WiFi so I can go anywhere in the house and use it. I use my desktop for very little, just certain programs I have on my desktop I don't want to transfer over to the laptop.

I have both.  I prefer a laptop because I can travel and take my work with me.  Laptops just make life easier.

     It does not matter to me as long as it is fast downloading.

I have both,but i use my laptop the most,cause i can take it to different rooms of the house

me too, have both, but love the convenience of the laptop... not stuck in any one room...

Laptops are convenient and portable to bring around, but I put a padding between myself and laptop if I don't have a desk due to the heat generated and possible radiation effects. Despite the convenience I still use my desktop while at home.

i have both and use both of them equally but i love my laptop because i can sit on the couch or the bed and do  what i have to i use the desktop for making money

I do have both. My desk top I believe should belong in an antique store. Still running but I hardly used it since I have my lap top. I do not have high speed internet on desk top requires a lot of technical cable and wiring devices that I don't know how to hook up. So lap top is my choice!!

I guess it's all in what you get used to.  I have a desk top, lap top and tablet but prefer my desktop.  I work on one all day and it's what I am used to.

I use my laptop a lot more than my desktop, because it is faster.
