I don't remember.  I don't think we even asked.

We knew Sunday Dinner was a roast with potatoes and baked beans and some kind of dessert.

My mom would usually give me 2 choices and she would make the one I did not pick just because.  Needless to say based on that and several other things that happened the 16 years we lived together we have not spoken in 11 years.

Actually, my Mom was very easy-going, she would ask us what we wanted for dinner!!!!

My mom made what she made and that was pretty much that... no picking and choosing on my end.

When I was little, yes she told me what we were all having. But as we grew up, she asked us what we wanted and would cook it for us or go get whatever we wanted. I definitely am not complaining, I love almost everything my mom cooks!

No she just cooked...I was not a huge meat eater so I would just sit there and look at my plate while they all ate...if she were to fry some green tomatoes and homemade biscuits, I would eat to  much.....I miss my moms cooking, she made the best potato salad I have ever had, and I have had some good tater salad.....

Not all the time, but my mom taught me how to cook as a kid by having me in the kitchen with her most of the time, lots of great memories of her and I together.

No, she was usually telling me to get out of the kitchen, think I did bug her a bit too much.
