I personally am in favor of it.  I have a very strict Do Not Resuscitate order in writing as well as all family members are aware of it.  I'm looking forward to the better place I will be going after leaving this earth.  Just praying the Lord will take me peacefully and not allow me to go through the agony and pain that so many go through.
Have a wonderful day!

oh gosh
i had to make an entire debate about this and was randomly assigned to the team that was against euthanasia.
I made a strong argument that doctors abusing their power in the long run would have a negative effect and etc.

I personally have no sides for this.

Aside from reilgious beliefs, what argument do you have against euthanasia? If an individual is chronically or terminally ill, do they have the right to end their own suffering? Imagine a person who has been sick for years and only worsened with little hope, painful treatments that only prolong a very poor quality of life. This person is just tired and worn out, no longer can experience pleasure or happiness.

What are your thoughts?

I would say it is a difficult and hard decision! We can't make that decision right now until we are actually the one who is suffering. For example, If that was your child, would you do it? If that was you, would you actually do it? Sometimes it is easier if you don't have a wife and/or kids or vice versa. It is also easier to say what you would or would not do, when you are healthy at the moment.  My over all feeling is that as long as I am happy with the life I've lived and I can die at home...so be it.

Yeah, I just finished watching, "The Road." I would just go somewhere and euthanize myself rather than endure the hell of that kind of "survival." Seriously. :peace:
